Who sealed our childhood?
Our hearts rarely find rest
Parents conclude we are still peacefully dreaming
But we are wide awake
Who rung our alarm ?
We lived in our dreams
Chasing after what our heart lead us to
We thrived
In younger years
The days were full of day dreams
We smiled, ran, laughed and giggled
We used to love like God desired us to
There was once beauty
There was
Greatness in simplicity
Fewer hours of sleep
Avoiding anything other than
Tiny screens
Cafeinne controls people’s sociability
There is a city that never sleeps
And within this sleep deprived nation
We have forgotten what it means
To truly dream
