What Do YOU Like??

Hello everyone!

 

If you have been following my blog for a while then you will notice that, lately, I have been much more active on this blog. I have been posting more and interacting with followers, potential followers, and blogs that I follow much more! That is because, as many of you may know, I recently graduated from college. Therefore, I have more time on my hands. So I am using that time to write, be more active on my blog, Instagram page, YouTube page and Facebook page.

Of course, one of the main reasons why I am being more active on these pages is that I want to grow. Unfortunately, I cannot grow without YOU, my followers–new and old–who interact with my content every day. Therefore, I would like to give back to you guys by making sure that I post content that you enjoy (poetry and videos, of course)!

So, please comment below what you would like to read about more, on my page. What you like to read about the most and other topics and type of contents that you want to see more of, on my page. All of that is to help me grow and to make your journey on my blog more enjoyable!

    I think you could better ask yourself the question: what do I want to create and to write?
    In my opinion and experience it is always better to make a movement from the inside to the outside and not the other way around. Don’t adjust your creativity to what others would like to read. The opinion of the audience will change all the time and it makes a chameleon out of you. If you want to be authentic, always stay true to yourself, don’t care of what others might think of you and let your audience find you.
    I wish you success and I’m curious to read more of you!

      Wow! Thank you immensely, Marieke. That is such a great advice. Thank you! I can tell that you genuinely enjoy my work and would like to see my success with my authenticity. You are right, opinions will always change. The only thing that I can stay consistent with is being sure that my work is fueled by my authenticity. Thank you so much, Marieke! Your advice is exactly what I needed.

      I had asked the question because I think it is usually good for the content creater to get a “feel” of what their audience would like to see more of. In that sense, the content creater is not aiming to change what they write, but they are trying to see if their audience have a general liking for a type of content that they post.

      Despite that, I think your advice is still better and a good one. I will definitely follow it! Thank you immensely for your support and care for my success! I look forward to reading more of your work too!

    I enjoy original work, so keep posting your original poetry. Congrats on completing college. A great achievement. Also, if you happen to visit any writing ‘shops’ in NYC, I’d be interested in reading about those. While I’ve been to the city a number of times, I live on the side of a mountain in Maine and I don’t exactly have the opportunity to visit writing workshops in the city. Although I do hope to at some point.

      Hey man!

      Thank you very much! I really appreciate the support for my original work. From what I know, writing workshops are usually done during the summer. It was on my to do list to go to at least one workshop, this summer, but I got so busy! Between looking for a job/working, handling all of my poetry social media pages and performing at different venues around the city, I TOTALLY FORGOT TO LOOK INTO WRITING WORKSHOPS! It was such a bummer when I finally realized this (literally about 2 weeks ago), and I knew that I had to dedicate my time to working (gotta pay them loans!) and being active on my social media platforms–so no workshops!

      Nonetheless, I plan to be in NYC for a while! Therefore, I still have a lot of time to go to a few! So when I do go, I shall write about it!
