Cloudy skies
The sun dies
Gentle orchestra on my window
I have fallen far below
The moist, the tears
The parade in my ears
Are we finally sober?
Or are we sobbing?
Sliding down the glass
I swear, this is my last
Until the sun has risen
To silence my siren
This rain will drop
Sorrow won’t stop.

Beautiful poem, i love the line ‘the parade in my ears’. I picture myself against the window as the rain falls, perhaps recovering from a drunken argument with the use of ‘sober’ and ‘sobbing’. So much you could unravel with just a few of your lines, short and sharp but paint a vivid image of how it could connect with you. Good work!

Haha! Trust me it is super hard! It only took me 6 years before feeling like I’ve gotten a good routine that keeps me consistently checking my feed–6 years of trying to catch up but failing haha. But thank you for making the effort to show some love!
