Dreaming Too Hard

sometimes life tugs your arm off
to where imagination can’t reach

so talents harvest into a future
your feet are planted in dry mud,

head on a slingshot, bouncing
on the walls of an empty sky.

redundancy is the rhythm
two stepping; going nowhere

  1. Sometimes life tugs your arm off to where imagination can’t reach. Such a great line. I feel that tug every day and try to resist it, but it’s too strong.

    1. I understand that. I, unfortunately, give in to that tug everyday. My biggest challenge is creating space and time for other things as well 🙁
