of you; everyone
regardless of religion, beliefs, spirituality
the devil will always be one step ahead
But I don’t play fair.
I’ve always played my game on a different field.
I move my pieces on a different board.
I fly in a different dimension.
The devil is always one step ahead of me
I’m one step above the devil
through thickness of sinister shadows
the ground opening its mouth
for me to sink into
I’ve always been able to do a little more different.
reach into other universes above the serpent
where its hiss doesn’t echo
where they welcome me, and my troubles
